Before coming to Lamar, my most recent positions were Associate Provost for Outreach at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Dean of Continuing Education and Distance Learning at Troy State University. My background includes work as a high school teacher, corporate manager, small business owner, college professor, director of educational technologies, graduate dean and dean of continuing education and student services. Over the past fifteen years, I have been very involved with faculty development, professional education, video conferencing, distance learning, technology-across-the curriculum, Internet resource development and administration of nontraditional educational programs.
